Common Sense Design is the perfect partner for Meeting Place to
launch its online dating service
A new online dating service - Meeting Place - launches today with
a logo and Web site designed by Nigel Gordijk of Common Sense Design.
What makes the site unique is its emphasis on matching people within
a specific region, rather than the whole country. With this in mind,
Nigel Gordijk devised the tagline "People like you, near you".
Initially, the service will concentrate on the South Coast of England,
rolling out across the country later.
Common Sense Design created a logo that highlights a couple who
have found each other in a crowd of people. The bright, distinctive
colour scheme is carried throughout the Web site's design. The site
(www.meeting-place.co.uk) has been designed to be simple to use,
with an engaging, friendly tone.
"Working closely with Meeting Place enabled me to create a
brand that immediately conveys the key message, that people will
be able to find friends and partners online," said Nigel Gordijk,
Common Sense Design's Creative Director. "It was also important
for me to make it clear to potential members how easy it is to use
the site".
Meeting Place and Common Sense Design are currently working on
an online advertising campaign to promote the dating service.
